today started out badly
1. sandalwood incense, lifted from younger sister's belongings as mother compulsively sought to reduce clutter in room that is marked for transformation into nursery, smells bad and is trashed.
2. during morning torah study, elder cat vomits morning meal in numerous locations, forcing unwanted cleaning and attendant feelings of revulsion, anger and annoyance.
3. towards end of vomit-interrupted torah study, an incoming telephone call provided another unwelcome interruption which caused an unfortunate block in my chi.
4. had to relocate twice during the same downtown train ride to work because people who smelled very, very badly chose to enter my space.
5. further to number three ("3") above, i do not enjoy or appreciate the smell of decaying flesh, filthy clothes and general body rot, especially in the morning. when i am trying to enjoy my coffee and morning reading.
6. work began at an intense, dizzying pace.

I have learned that shaving cream, the cheap generic kind will do, works wonders on both feline and canine vomit. Just scoop up the big chunks, cover the spot that remains with copious amounts of shave cream, let stand for a minute or so, then scrub vigorously with a wet rag.
